I have told every apprentice who has asked for advice that it’s a crap trade but if they want to stay, be smarter and learn plan reading, standards etc. the carpentry apprenticeship is trash, if you can learn to frame, lockup and fix via youtube and have your own tools. you can start working for yourself. look into something else imo..
